Taipei, Taiwan

A few weeks ago we went on our last trip to renew our visas. We decided to go to Taiwan because it was close and I dread plane flights while being pregnant. Out of our all our trips Taipei was the most uneventful. I think a huge factor that made the trip not so great was the unfortunate weather. It literally rained almost the entire time we were there, day and night. The good thing was that we got to watch a lot of the World Cup. We don’t have cable in Philly and being able to watch those games were a dream come true. We did go to the 2nd tallest building in the world, Taipei 101, and that was pretty amazing. The people in Taiwan were all SUPER nice.

Our hotel, The Wonstar. It is the orange building. We were on the 5th floor. Classy.

I met up with a friend from high school. She is living in Taiwan and teaching English. She told us some great things to eat and see. Thanks Jana!

Jake looking snazzy with his umbreazy.

Our Chef. SO NICE!

Our friend who worked the Dumbing shop.

Dumbing. The best Chinese food we had. It is a breakfast dish made on the street or in breakfast restaurants. It is pretty much a super thin omelet with bacon and cheese wrapped inside of it. I am not doing it justice. It was good.
